DIY - Leather Disk Dress

Friday, June 18, 2010
Leather disks are a great way to spice up a black bodycon dress, and they create a gorgeous fish scale texture. A cheap way to source them is to cut them out of a mens leather jacket or old leather pants bought from a thrift shop. If you are lucky enough to have a Reverse Garbage in your town or city (where manufactoring offcuts are sold to the public for art and other creative ventures) that is a great place to get them. I am yet to find anything like it in the UK but went regularly to the one near me in Australia.
