Furry mohair type fabrics were all over the catwalk at Philip Lim (sorry to be bouncing into A/W again when it probably only just warmed up for most of us...). Charity shops are full of picnic rugs in this fabric! I am going to use a rug to make a cape, although will sew/glue some black interfacing along the edges so that it looks a but less like a rug...
