Whistles Full Skater Skirt

If ONLY I could DIY this, I would be a very happy woman. Its not very often I get utterly obsessed with something on the high street (usually hitting the op shops satisfies my shopping craving) but this skater skirt from Whistles is gorgeous. At £125 though, its wayyy out of the realms of possibility (thats a week's accomodation on my trip to India in December...). I'm going to continue to keep my eyes peeled on lunchtime thrifting sessions, I know it may be easier to find a knee length full skirt and alter it to mid-thigh. Note to self when I find what I'm looking for: the thick hem, inside which I would probably use some interfacing, helps create the wave.
